Life

It has been forever since I updated with anything other then jobs so this is gonna be a massive post lol.

Well for one I got a scanner and was able to scan my film from the last week of school, and the senior shoot I did with Brent.

My Grandpa also found an old image of him from his time in the Navy in WWII.  He wanted to give some family members a copy so I scanned it and spruced it up for him.  The image is really interesting too cause they didn’t have color photographs when this was taken so the color was put on after the fact.  It looks amazing however and would be awesome to reproduce.  I am going to make a Canvas wrap for him for Christmas so I can’t wait to see how that turns out!

So after 2 weeks of cleaning and reorganizing my life and business after I got back I finally have everything in order.  I swapped cameras with my dad.

Got my car some stickers with my business stuff (and got a new car in the process).

And got a side job as the Marketing Director of my mom’s Credit Union.

I also got a puppy!  His name is duke, and even though he looks cute this guy is a small terrorist who likes the taste of my flesh.  I look like I cut myself in the most obvious places now thanks to his teeth that are like small razors of doom.  But I love him, and he is very smart…probably I bit to smart lol.

He likes to sleep a lot

I have also been helping out the yearbook at my old high school and snapped some pictures during homecoming for them.

So that brings us up to the present.  Last week was Mallory’s 21st Birthday! I went to Chico and had some fun times, met some very cool new people, and saw some old high school friends. It was also the Rotary Wine Tasting, which I had some family session in that I am excited to do!

My hair is now dark too.  It was a spur of the moment thing when I got my hair cut last week and I think it looks awesome.  The picture doesn’t really show it off to well =/.
Hair...is darker then the image shows lol.

Tomorrow I am heading to Chico for the opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I am SO excited and sad.   While this is looking to be an amazing movie, it also marks the last bit of my childhood I hold on to.
this is obvious.

Oh i also finally got my diploma from Brooks! and i voted...yay.
My Brooks diploma!
I felt like a kid when i got a sticker LOL.

Lindsey Quadrio

Wow it has been way to long.

Last Friday I was able to photograph Lindsey Quadrio from Westwood High (my first out of town client!). It was a whirl wind two days, we did the consultation Thursday after her mother had contacted me earlier that week and set up the shoot for the following day.  It was a blast however! We got all the fall colors and the great leaves just in time (The next day it snowed and Suanville did the whole winter overnight thing).  With a viewing scheduled for tomorrow i wanted to get in a quick sneak peak and the wonderful images we got!

Like i said up top, it has been way to long since i updated my blog...and a lot has happened so i'll to a life in general update tomorrow!

A request from the Lindsey's

This is an image that Brent's dad requested to see.

I did an image like this when i photographed his older brothers senior pictures a few years ago.  I like the contrasting expressions in it.

My first client for this Senior year was Brent Lindsey (I photographed his older brother Shane for my portfolio).  We did a lot of studio stuff, but i think they turned out awesome!  I chose so many in my first round of edits that i have to go back through twice to narrow it down even more.  Just going to post of few of my faves.

This shoot was a lot of fun, and i got to mess around with a few different lighting set ups.  I think i got a real good variety in the images so that makes me really happy.  I think i will doe one of my viewing books from this session to show clients.
It also felt really good to pick up my camera and shoot again, it was going on 3 weeks.  And i had a great model to work with, and that always makes a shoot better.

Thanks Brent!

It's been a long road

With all the moving and organizing i haven't had any time to post....anything lol.  But finally everything is done...kinda. lol.  I have most of my office done and i have my studio set up in our garage.  Booking a few jobs here and there, and i'm starting my ad coordinator job at the Credit Union soon.  Also I turn 22 in 2 more days, birthdays are no longer fun lol, and my best friend Matt turns 21 in 5 days!

Besides missing SB horribly and all my Brooks friends and family, i am slowly readjusting to life in the Ville (however short of time i might be here). Anyways i got some film processed right before i left SB so i wanted to share that before my next post so enjoy!
Willie was wondering around in the field taking some pics.

My favorite location...ever...

Some more willie.
This guy was in front for me at Santa Monica when Kate and i moved some of her stuff down.
Dan and Kate...it was right after the moment...i'm excellent at missing moments, i think i'll make it a trade mark of mine.
