For my mom

So over the last break i did some images on my mom's employee's and her and her friends. Here are 3 of the images from her group shots, one serious and two hilarious ones.

Before the two week Break

So class so far has been amazing. I love going to class for maybe 3 hours, then going out on location to use all these new techniques, and equipment. There are great people in the class, i LOVE the teacher (one of the best by far) and i love that i am inspired again to just experiment and do whatever i want. There is so much to shoot in the next 3 weeks, so much to plan, theme, edit, produce, prop, cast models, but i love it all. I am going to continue my disney theme for one of my portfolios, and i am working on a more abstract angel piece for my hand made portfolio.

So far we have shot with our Holgas, done an assignment to photograph our partner in a portrait, an environmental, and a fine art piece, and today we shot infrared. So here is some of what i have done so far.

The first set is just me and George (self portrait, and i shot george when he wasn't looking)

My partner for the persona shoot was Natalie (she's a lot of fun)

And this is the infrared stuff we shot today. Total experiment and i donno if i did it right lol.

I have some other images form the shoot today of fellow classmate Ashley, but i want to do some post to those first so check back tomorrow for those images.

two songs

So music gives me a lot of inspiration. These two song have really caught my attention lately so i wanted to share them.

Seniors part 1

So i finished retouching all the senior portraits i did over my break. I am really happy with the variety of the images. I am going to post the ones that they chose for their Senior yearbook image and then i will post some others soon!

What i've been doing lately

So along with my own class work i have been doing some other things the end of this term. I helped willie with his 25 strangers.

It's been fun! Now a week of Senior photography!

Video

So after two months of hard work this session has come to an end. For our final we had to put together a video slide shot of our images to present to the class.

This class was a lot of fun. I didn't think i would enjoy photographing children and families, but all in all it was a really good experience.

I cannot wait for next session! I am taking the Beyond Portraiture class here at Brooks taught by Joyce Wilson (love this lad www.joycewilson.com). It is a fine art portraiture class where we get to do amazing stuff. Christina is in the class with me and i know we are going to have a blast.

I also got the rooms for Disneyland today! Exciting 21st birthday at Disneyland haha.

Also i am heading home on Tuesday for a week of Senior Picture sessions, so stay tuned to see those as i do them.
