Amanda Nobles Senior Photo Preview ~Susanville Senior Portrait Photographer~

Here is a small preview of Amanda Nobles Senior photoshoot.  This was a great shoot.  Amanda came in with very clear ideas about what she wanted from her senior portraits, and the images came out amazing!  I had so much fun, and retouching was so simple.  There are a lot of very different looks we came up with that gave this shoot a distinctive feel, showed her personality, and allowed us to be creative. Enjoy!

Kelsey ~Susanville Children Photographer!

The other week i had a great session with this little girl, Kelsey.  I grew up with her mom, and it is such a strange circle of life thing photographing her daughter.  She was super cute and loved Beauty and the Beast; she kept calling me Gaston lol. Yesterday was the ordering session, and everything went great.  Here is some a message Tanna (Kelsey's grandma) sent me today.

"Wanted to post this yesterday but with a 3yr old granddaughter I am posting today. A couple wks ago I had Kelsey's photo taken professionally. This person not only does an awesome job but he takes that extra step for his customers! Believe me...a child will let you know if they are not comfortable/safe around whomever! Right from the beginning she felt comfortable and that she could be herself around this person. She talked his leg off and told him what a bulldog/kitty cat was (inside info, lol). Yesterday, I had to choose which photos I wanted. That was the hardest part!! But I did it! I even shed a few tears as he captured so many expressions along with photos of her and nanny(my mom). Justin Miller, you did an outstanding job! You helped us make memories of a lifetime and for that, I am forever greatful! You have always had a special place in our hearts (nanny and I) and always will!! Thank you again....JCHARLESPHOTOGRAPHY ♥"

Kyle Harlan ~Susanville Portrait Photographer~

After a few weeks i have finished retouching the shoot i had with Kyle Harlan.  I love almost every single image i took in this session, and i could retouch each one if i really wanted to, but i did restrain myself haha. Not only did i get great images out of the shoot, but i don't think i have ever felt so comfortable photographing someone before.  Good conversation, amazing look and style, and great additions to my portfolio. Kyle also wore a ridiculous coat i found at a thrift store in Chico while looking for the Miss Lassen outfits, and i got some good concept stuff out of that.  Overall i loved this shoot, loved retouching the images, and i am completely happy with what i captured.  Thank you SO much Kyle, I'd work with you again anytime.
P.S. I need some Brooks love...and by that i mean crit these.
